What Is A No Bag Policy

Hey, have you ever heard of a no bag policy? I mean, what even is that? It's like, you show up to a concert or a festival, and they're all, "Sorry, no bags allowed" - um, what am I supposed to carry my snacks in, my pockets?
I was at a music festival recently, and they had a super strict no bag policy. I had to literally empty my pockets and walk through a metal detector - I felt like I was at the airport or something! But, I guess it's all about safety, right?
So, what's the deal with no bag policies?
Apparently, it's all about security and crowd control. Venues want to make sure everyone is safe, and that nobody is sneaking in any, ahem, "undesirables". And, let's be real, it's also about queue management - who wants to wait in line for hours, right?

But, on the other hand, it can be a bit of a drag - I mean, what if you need to carry some essentials, like medication or a phone charger? Do you just hope for the best and pray that nothing goes wrong? Not exactly the most relaxing experience, if you ask me.
The Lowdown
So, if you're heading to an event with a no bag policy, be prepared! Leave your bag at home, and try to pack light - you don't want to be that person who's stuck outside, arguing with security. And, hey, if all else fails, you can always buy what you need inside - just don't expect to find any cheap snacks!

On a more serious note, no bag policies are probably here to stay - at least for big events. So, we might as well just get used to it, right? I mean, it's not the end of the world - just a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things.
Anyway, that's my two cents on no bag policies - what do you think? Are they a necessary evil, or just a total pain? Let me know, and we can discuss - over coffee, of course!
