Bag Policy At The Ryman

I still remember the first time I visited the Ryman, I was so excited to see my favorite artist perform live, but as I was about to enter, I was stopped by a security guard who told me that my bag was too big. I was like, "what, really?!" who doesn't love a good oversized bag?. I had to spend the next 10 minutes trying to find a place to store it, which was a bit of a bummer.
About the Bag Policy
The Ryman has a pretty strict bag policy, which can be a bit of a hassle for some people, but it's definitely for our own safety. They don't allow any bags larger than 12x12x6 inches, which is actually pretty small if you ask me. I mean, have you seen the size of some of the purses out there?
What's Allowed and What's Not
So, what is allowed? Well, small purses, clutches, and clear bags are all good to go. But if you're planning on bringing a backpack or a large tote, you might want to think again. I've seen people try to sneak them in, but trust me, the security guards are on it.
Must Read
I've been to a few concerts at the Ryman since then, and I have to say, the bag policy has actually made the whole experience a lot more streamlined. I mean, who wants to be stuck in a long line waiting for someone to search their massive bag? Not me, that's for sure. It's all about efficiency and safety, folks.

Plan Ahead
If you're planning on visiting the Ryman, my advice would be to plan ahead and pack light. Bring a small bag, or even better, a clear bag, and you'll be golden. And if you do happen to forget, don't worry, there are plenty of storage options nearby where you can stash your stuff.
So there you have it, folks, the bag policy at the Ryman might seem strict, but it's all worth it in the end. You'll be singing along to your favorite tunes in no time, bag-free and carefree. And who knows, you might even start a new trend, small bags are the new black, right?
